Everyone has a favorite small town in Kentucky, but there's no point arguing about which is the best, because there are reasons to love them all. If you want to camp in the area, you can't be nicer than the campgrounds on the Kentucky Lake. Nestled in the rolling mountains of eastern Kentucky, this small town is one of the good states, especially for those who love nature.
Water-based teambuilding and recreation are available at Kentucky Lake Resort, where groups have access to excellent fishing and boat rental. Nearby there are a number of great restaurants, shops and a great leisure area as well as a beautiful park.
The topography within 2 miles of Morehead has significant elevation differences, and the highest elevation in the county is the Knob limestone (1435 ft), which is about 3 miles southwest of Morehead. The topology of the area is a mixture of hills and valleys, with an altitude of about 2,500 feet. It was the focal point of Rowan County during the war and is home to Morehead State University and a number of other schools.
The campus is located in the foothills of eastern Kentucky near Cave Run Lake and is only 60 miles from the Lexington Interstate. The curriculum at the Morehead Campus is a combination of bachelor, graduate and vocational courses, as well as a number of disciplines. Applicants for morehead follow the same process as those applying to the Lexington campus. It is one of the largest and most diverse campuses in Kentucky with more than 1,000 students, but it is also located in a rural area with a population of about 2,500 people.
If a student has a UK student ID, he will receive an MSU student ID if he is admitted and if he had and must have a UK student ID.

Anyone who has seen Morehead's Domino's Pizzeria will find it on the corner of Main Street and Main Street, just a few blocks from campus. There are a number of other pizzerias in the area, such as Pizza Hut, but we chose Dominos because their food delivery doesn't disappoint. The chicken wings were launched in 2011 and there are many other delivery options, from pizza to wings, burgers and sandwiches.
The Rowan County Arts Center offers a variety of arts and crafts courses including ceramics, painting, sculpture and music. The building also has a fully functional Gross Anatomy laboratory, which is only used by students of the University of Kentucky PA. UKPAS (Morehead Campus) students have completed their first year of undergraduate studies at the university, so you may be able to travel to Lexington as part of your orientation or start-up program. Many classes can be watched on the ITV telecom system on campus and over the internet.

The Kentucky Folk Art Center (KFAC), housed in the Union Grocery building from 1906, showcases the work of self-taught Kentucky artists from across the state and the country, and showcases the talents of local, regional, and even national artists, all of whom are at home in their homes. For the past five years, Morehead's government-approved Main Street program has focused on adaptive reuse of old buildings. In the heart of the city centre is the Moreheads Conference Centre, or MCC for short, with its state-of-the-art conference centre, conference rooms, offices and conference hall.
Hikers can get caffeinated at Fuzzy Duck or take the city's free shuttle bus from Main Street Station to downtown before heading to Tennessee. Because of our tourism record, there is a good chance of visiting Morehead for warm weather activities. The windiest part of the year lasts 6 months, and the wind is most frequent in the middle to late summer and early autumn.
